In silver, unmarked, type II with eagle coat-of-arms on the reverse, measuring 43.2 mm (w) x 41.5 mm (h), original ribbon, suspended from a traditional horizontal hanger with pinback, surface wear evident on the lions, very light contact overall, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Military Medal is a high military award of Spain, to recognize battlefield bravery. The medal was established on June 29, 1918 by Alfonso XIII of Spain. Since then, it is awarded to members of the Spanish military service independent of rank.
