North America. An Indigenous Agate Spearhead

In a natural dark agate, of recent manufacture, very sharp point, the body long in design with flares on either side at its base, finished with a flattened fishtail-like end for placement upon a spear, the overall shape produced by chipping small, parallel flakes off both sides of the blade, along with creating a sharp chattering on both edges, museum marked in white ink "AB95" on the reverse, measuring 37 mm in width x 170 in length x 7.5 mm in depth, free of crazing chipping and cracking. Extremely fine.
