An award document for an Order of the German Eagle Merit Medal with Swords, constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, named with mis-spelling to “SARGENTO DON MANUEL ROSELLA”, issued in Berlin on 5 June 1939, certified by a facsimile signature of Otto Meissner, measuring 21 cm (w) x 30 cm (h) and secreted within a period original card stock folio, demonstrating some soiling to both the document and folio, in overall better than very fine condition, accompanied by paperwork confirming that Roselló Ollé served with the Nationalist forces during the Spanish Civil War and liaised with the Condor Legion and was injured during combat on 22 July 1936, supplemented by five period photographs, similarly demonstrating age-appropriate material fatigue, in overall very fine condition.
