Latvia, Republic. A Latish Shooting Battalion (LSB) Badge

A circular badge constructed of brass, the obverse centre bears a sun with a sword laid diagonally across, with “ЛСБ / LSB” within a pearled border, the sun is partially superimposed over a wreath border of leaves tied with a ribbon at the bottom, above is the two-headed eagle of Russia, the reverse is plain and and bears a screwback with a plate reading “монЕтный двор”, measuring 37.32 mm (w) x 45.10 mm (h), very fine.
