Latvia, Republic. An Army Regimental Badge, by J. RUBINS, c.1939

A diamond shaped badge of silver and white enamel, the obverse centre bears a regimental cipher and the date “14 1939” on a white enamel diamond shaped base, the remainder of the medal is silver, the reverse is marked with “875” and “NR” and engraved with “J. RUBINS”, shows attachment prongs of obverse centre plate, with a screwback, measuring 29.40 mm (w) x 41.21 mm (h), weighing 12.8 g, very fine.
