Constructed of gilded bronze, the oberse bearing a raised messenger pigeon perched on top of a pillar, set against a rural landscape with a rising sun, the reverse bearing an engraved and wreathed inscription of “DEM VIERFACHEN SIEGER 1930” (“TO THE FOURFOLD WINNER 1930”), unmarked, measuring 40 mm diameter, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a heavy card stock frame with a faux dark blue leather exterior liner, the interior with a dark blue satin lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a depressed dark blue velvet medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 65 mm (w) x 65 mm (l) x 16 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
