Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, around a central raised German national eagle clutching a bullseye target, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 45.55 mm (w) x 73.14 mm (h), weighing 16.8 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a light wooden frame with a faux dark brown leather exterior liner, the interior with a white satin lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a slotted black velvet medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 85 mm (l) x 22 mm (h), with minor material fatigue evident to the case, in near extremely fine condition.
