Latvia, Republic. A Firefighter Union (LUS) Badge, by W.F. Muller

An ovular badge of bronze, the obverse centre bears a firefighter helmet with two crossed axes on a raised centre medallion of multiple rays, encompassed by an ovular wreath of laurel and oak leaves tied with a ribbon at the bottom, a ribbon is across the bottom and is inscribed with “L.U.S PAR CITIBU” the top bears the coat of arms of Latvia, the reverse is plain and bears screwback, the plate bears the mark “W.F. MULLER RIGA”, measuring 30.59 mm (w) x 52.79 mm (h), very fine.
