Constructed of gilded silver with enamels, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with white enameled arms joined together through the quadrants by gilded NSDAP-style German national eagles clutching wreathed mobile swastikas on a white enameled discs, overlaid across the three and nine o’clock arms with a crossed sword clasp, the reverse with a central visible rivet securing the swords in place, with a raised and elongated barrel hinge and narrow tapering pinback meeting a rounded catch, the pinback maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “21” for Gebrüder Godet, Berlin, alongside a silver content number of “900”, measuring 49.53 mm (w) x 49.62 mm (h), weighing 32.2 grams, accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a wooden frame with a faux red leather exterior liner, the lid bearing an embossed and gilded NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, situated within a border of identical construction, the interior with a padded white satin lid liner and intact hinge cover, the former bearing a gilt inscription of “DEUTSCHER ADLERORDEN II. STUFE MIT SCHWERTERN”, with a depressed and slotted black velvet medal bed, closing with a functional bronzed magnetic metal snap button, unmarked, measuring 105 nm (w) x 108 mm (l) x 24 mm (h), with minor flecking and a consisting patina visible to the enamels and base metal of the decoration, respectively, a high-quality and complete set in extremely fine condition.
