Romania, Republic. A Rare White Gold Medal for the 10th Anniversary of the Armed Forces, Belonging to Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej

1943-1953.  An extremely rare example in solid 14Kt. white Gold (unmarked, but tested), featuring red, blue and yellow enamels, measuring 32.3 mm, original ribbon, mounted to a five-sided metal suspension with pinback, in its hardshelled case of issue, near mint, and of extreme rarity.

Accompanied by A booklet from the personal estate of Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej. World's Youth and Student Festival for Peace and Friendship Entrance Permit (semi-hardcover, issued on July 25, 1953 and valid until August 17, 1953, measuring 60 mm x 82 mm), very fine.
