Instituted in 1857. In 18 K Gold, a beautiful star featuring clusters of three faceted rays with angled tips, the obverse medallion features two oval crests in multicoloured enamels featuring the Spanish emblems and the scales of justice with the inscription JUSTICIA, on a beautiful blue enamel field, surrounded by a golden fleece collar, a red enamelled crown at 12 o’clock, the reverse with a vertical pin and dual stays assembly, measures 79.7mm (w) x 80.4mm (h), weighs 69.4 grams, reverse marked G. YRABURO, indents on the stays on the interior of the pin, enamels intact, in extremely fine condition.
