(Wehrmacht Fotoalbum). An interesting private wartime photo album, constructed of a card stock binding with a field-grey canvas exterior liner, the spine perforated with four holes reinforced with magnetic metal grommets through which is looped a drawstring that maintains the album’s structural integrity, the cover bearing a silvered Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika above an inscription of “14. (PZ.-ABW.) KOMP. INF.-RGT. 14”, the interior content consisting of 20 black card stock pages separated by wax paper dividers to mitigate damage to the images, the former consisting of 72 black-and-white photos depicting Wehrmacht personnel in uniform, with scenes of personnel in barracks, training, and at leisure, interspersed with tourist images and depictions of battlefield damage, most captured on the Eastern Front but with some depicting late-war Eastern Front images, unmarked, measuring 27 cm (w) x 19 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
