A matching Heer Officer’s brocade and buckle, the former constructed of dark green wool base with a buckram core, the exterior topped by a silver aluminum wire tresse with two machine-embroidered dark green stripes, affixed with two sliding bands of identical construction, one end stitched into a loop to accommodate the buckle, the opposite end retaining a hidden brown leather tongue perforated with nine sets of dual eyelets for an adjustable fit, bearing an embossed number “104” at the tip of the tongue, otherwise unmarked, measuring 4.5 cm (w) x 97 cm (l), demonstrating sporadic mothing to the wool underlay which has exposed the buckram core, in very fine condition; the buckle constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, around a central raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a buckle and clip, unmarked, measuring 52 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
