Germany, NSDAP. A Political Leader’s Belt Buckle, by Friedrich Linden

(NSDAP Gürtelschnalle für Politische Leiter). Constructed of gilded aluminum, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by an NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a clip and dual attachment claws (one replaced and mis-matched), marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M4/24” for Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid, measuring 56 mm in diameter, demonstrating sporadic loss of finish in addition to the replaced claw, in near extremely fine condition.
