(Valgetähe teenetemärk). Instituted in 1936. Three-piece construction, in bronze gilt with white enamels, unmarked, measuring 63 mm (w) x 67.7 mm (h), on its full-length neck ribbon, intact enamels, extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, white thatched exterior, Estonian coat-of-arms in silver-coloured ink on the lid, inside lid lined in white satin and padded, medal bed in navy blue felt, clasp closure, measuring 80 mm (w) x 150 mm (h) x 30 mm (d), light soiling evident on the bottom, case near extremely fine.

 

Footnote: The Order of the White Star was instituted on October 7, 1936 and is awarded to Estonian citizens, to give recognition for services rendered in state public service or local government and to foreigners for services rendered to the Estonian state, in six grades (five classes [I, II, II, IV, V] plus a Collar and Star), along with a Medal in Gold, Silver and Bronze grades.
