Norway, Nasjonal Samling. A Rare Order of Bravery and Loyalty, I Class

Constructed of patinated bronze, consisting of a Nordic Cross with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central raised date of “1941”, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “TAPPER OG TRO” (“BRAVERY AND LOYALTY”) across the three and nine o’clock arms, with attachment tangs emanating from the six and twelve o’clock arms, unmarked, measuring 41.72 mm (w) x 41.40 mm (h), weighing 13.0 grams, a scarce decoration in extremely fine condition.
