An extensive lot of membership and identity documents to Johann (Hans) Heide, a Sudeten German who was a resident of Bensen (now Benešov nad Ploučnicí, Czech Republic), featuring paperwork confirming Aryan descent, membership documents for both the Sudetendeutsche Partei (Sudeten German Party/SdP) and NSDAP (which he joined on 1 November 1938 as member number 6,590,758, one day after the annexation of the Sudetenland), the former including a membership pin constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels and demonstrating extensive damage to the enamels and the loss of most of the needle, supplemented by an extensive array of wartime paperwork, a fascinating account of the experience of a Sudeten German and long-time National Socialist activist in extremely fine condition.
