Instituted December 15, 1854. In silver, full size medal, rim engraved P. ORCHARD. R.A., with three clasps: ALMA, BALAKLAVA, INKERMANN, worn on original ribbon, evident contact marks to surface and edges, dark patina on reverse and on clasps, remains in very fine condition.
