Silver medal, two piece construction with red, white, light blue, dark blue, yellow, gray and black enamels. Olympic ring suspension. Obverse bearing Spanish “Al Merito Deportivo” (translation: for sports merit). Measuring at 45.5mm (w) x 62.31mm (h) (inclusive of Olympic ring suspension) and weighing at 38.3 grams.

Footnote: The Medal for Sports Merit was instituted in 1952 and was issued in three grades: I Class Gold Grade, II Class Silver Grade and III Glass Bronze Grade.
