Germany, SS. A Waffen-SS EM/NCO’s Visor Cap Eagle, by Augustin Hicke

(Waffen-SS Mützenadler). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an SS-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M1/167” for Augustin Hicke, Tyssa bei Bodenbach, measuring 67.88 mm (w) x 31.76 mm (h), both reverse attachment prongs are missing and most of the silver finish has been lost, in very fine condition.
