(Luftwaffe Wimpel). Constructed of a slate-grey cotton twill base, bearing double-sided white cotton twill Luftwaffe eagles clutching mobile swastikas, with feathering and details highlighted in slate-grey machine embroidery, each measuring 14 cm (w) x 10 cm (h), concealed within a transparent celluloid casing, reinforced along all three edges with a reddish-brown leather liner, the hoist edge perforated with two eyelets reinforced with magnetic metal grommets for display, unmarked, measuring 32.5 cm (w) x 20 cm (h), hazing and scratching is visible to the celluloid with additional material fatigue of the leather edges, in very fine condition.
