Finland; Silver, maker marked, marked with the National crown, marked "916H" (916 Hopea = Silver), Helsinki city marked and date marked "Y6" (1952) on the edge, 31 mm, original ribbon, extremely fine.

 

Footnote: The medal was awarded to coaches, trainers and persons who have zealously promoted the training of Finland's team; to officials of the Organizing Committee who have distinguished themselves in the organization of the Games; to Managers of a Finnish Sporting Federation, to officials employed in the Games; and to other persons who have helped forward the work of organization. There were 2,000 medals awarded: 1,732 in Finland and 268 abroad.
