Latvia. A Scarce "Latvian Aero Klub" Member's Badge, c.1937

The second pattern full size badge of the "Latvian Aero Klub", in solid silver, 61.3mm x 36.45mm, numbered on reverse "9" and "88", a screw back type (retaining nut is missing), unmarked, in extremely fine condition, scarce.

Footnote: "Latvian Aero Klub" was a non-military organization to which many Latvian pilots belonged to prior to the outbreak of the WW2. Most of the these pilots served in the Latvian Air force and German Luftwaffe during the WW2 period.
