(Spanienkreuz in Silber mit Schwertern und Etui). Constructed of silver, consisting of a Maltese Cross, with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the obverse with pebbled arms joined together through the quadrants by Luftwaffe eagles clutching mobile swastika, with a central raised mobile swastika set within dual rings, the reverse with a large block hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a rounded catch, stamped with a silver content number of “900”, in turn circumscribed by a hand-etched owner’s named of “FRITZ WERNER, NOBITZ/THR.”, measuring 56.04 mm (w) x 56.28 mm (h), weighing 37.9 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a wooden frame with a faux dark navy blue leather exterior liner, the interior with a navy blue rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a slotted dark navy blue medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 78 mm (w) x 80 mm (l) x 26 mm (h), in overall extremely fine condition.
