Germany, NSFK. A National Socialist Flyers Corps Model Proficiency Badge, Bronze Grade

(Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps Abzeichen). Constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a central glider flying above a cloud, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, marked with numbers “261943” and “0042”, measuring 37.79 mm (w) x 36.50 mm (h), most of the bronze finish has been lost, in overall very fine condition.
