(Gürtelschnallen). A pair of belt buckles, including:

1. A Stahlhelmbund buckle, constructed of partially-silvered brass, the obverse bearing a central raised Stahlhelm, situated within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “FRONTHEIL” and oak leaf branches, the reverse with swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), demonstrating loss of finish throughout in addition to minor denting,in very fine condition.

2. A Turnverein buckle, constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a raised Turnverein insignia, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment prongs, maker marked with the logo of Schauerte & Höhfeld, Lüdenscheid, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
