In bronze, weighing 98 grams, obverse illustrating the conjoined left-facing busts of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York (the future King George V and Queen Mary), inscribed "THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES" above, "THE DUKE AND DUCHESS" at the left and "OF CORNWALL AND YORK" at the right, all within an ornate frame composed of maple leaves, reverse illustrating the Royal coat-of-arms, inscribed "CALGARY SEP 28th 1901" below the arms, surrounded by the inscription "PRESENTED TO HEAD CHIEFS IN COMMEMORATION OF ASSEMBLY OF INDIAN TRIBES", measuring 64.6 mm in diameter, and weighing at 95.4 grams, slight tarnishing, near fine.
