(Ehrenkreuze der Deutschen Mutter). A lot of three Honour Crosses of the German Mother in Bronze, Silver, and Gold Grades, all constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels and silver or gilt finish where applicable, all on loops for suspension from period original ribbons, each consisting of a Latin Cross with arms joined through the quadrants by stylized rays, the obverse of each with blue enameled arms, all bearing central white enameled medallions overlaid by black swastikas circumscribed by raised inscriptions of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“TO THE GERMAN MOTHER”), the reverse of each bearing an etched institution date of “16. DEZEMBER 1938” and a signature of the Führer, all unmarked and measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), the Bronze Grade decoration demonstrates total loss of enamels and significant loss of finish to the base metal while the other two show some flecking of enamels and minor loss of finish, in overall very fine condition.
