Germany, Wehrmacht. A National War Flag

(Reichskriegsfahne). Constructed of a weather-hardened red cotton twill base, bearing a double-sided black and white dyed Nordic Cross, overlaid by an off-centre white disc bearing a black mobile swastika, the hoist edge reinforced with a white cotton border featuring a hollow channel through which is looped an original rope for suspension, the hoist edge stamped with size dimensions of “60 X 90” (centimeters), a manufacture date of “4/42” (April 1942), and a mark of “REICHSKRIEGSFAHNE”, demonstrating minor soiling, in extremely fine condition.
