Germany, Wehrmacht. A Mixed Lot of Uniform Insignia

(Insignien). A mixed lot of three uniform insignia, including:

1. A Waffen-SS EM/NCO’s sleeve eagle, constructed of black rayon, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered, silver-grey, SS-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 85 mm (w) x 40 mm (h), demonstrating minor soiling and material fatigue, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.

2. A Heer Gebirgsjäger EM/NCO’s sleeve insignia, constructed of field-grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered multi-coloured edelweiss, situated within a knotted border topped by a piton, unmarked, measuring 56 mm (w) x 68 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.

3. A Heer Jäger sleeve insignia, constructed of dark green wool, the obverse bearing machine-embroidered green oak leaves with brown acorns, situated within a knotted border, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), demonstrating some mothing, in unissued and very fine condition.
