A lot of eight wartime portraits, including one depicting a Luftwaffe Enlisted soldier in a tropical uniform, the reverse in postcard format and bearing a handwritten inscription of “ZUR ERINNERUNG AN DEINEM FREUND” (“IN MEMORY OF YOUR FRIEND”), with a date of “APRIL 1944”, measuring 88 mm (w) x 140 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a highly-decorated Heer Officer, in uniform and wearing a ribbon bar featuring eight Imperial and First World War decorations, unmarked, measuring 86 mm (w) x 138 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a Heer Enlisted soldier, in uniform and with the 1939 Iron Cross I Class and Infantry Assault Badge clearly visible, in addition to a ribbon bar featuring the 1939 Iron Cross II Class and the Eastern Front Medal, the lower right corner bearing an embossed studio mark, the reverse in postcard format, measuring 88 mm (w) x 138 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; two depicting a Heer Unteroffizier in uniform, the reverse in postcard format, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) x 140 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a young Heer Enlisted soldier in uniform and wearing a M43 cap, unmarked, measuring 82 mm (w) x 126 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; one depicting a Heer Enlisted soldier in uniform and wearing a visor cap, the reverse bearing a partially legible studio mark, measuring 90 mm (w) x 132 mm (h), in very fine condition, and; a postcard depicting Luftwaffe ace Adolf Galland, in uniform and with the KNight’s Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords clearly visible, the reverse bearing a studio mark of “VERLAG RÖHR, MAGDEBURG”, measuring 100 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
