Nishan al-Iftikhar. Instituted in 1843. III Model, Type VII with Cypher of Ahmad II ibn Ali (1929-1942). In silver with red and green enamels, with three faceted rays between each of the ten enamelled star points, hallmarked with boars head denoting French manufacture of 900 silver, post 1838, measuring 50.8 mm (w) x 80.5 mm (h) inclusive of its bow-tied ribbon suspension, chipping evident in the enamels on four of the star points, large rosette on its original ribbon, very fine.
Footnote: The Order of Glory was instituted in 1843 and awarded to members of the ruling house, senior public servants and to senior officers for acts of bravery.
