San Marino, Republic. An Order of Saint Agatha, V Class Knight, c.1930

Ordine Equestre di Saint' Agata. Instituted in 1923. In bronze gilt with white, red, green and light blue enamels, handpainted centrepiece on the obverse, measuring 36.8 mm (w) x 41.5 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced suspension, chipping evident in the white enamels on the arm at 3 o'clock on the obverse, without ribbon, very fine.

Footnote: The Order of Saint Agatha was instituted on June 5, 1923 and awarded for charitable work in the service of the Republic, in five grades: Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Knight.
