Germany, Wehrmacht. A Mixed Lot of Insignia

(Insignien). A mixed lot of three insignia, including:

1. A Heer Gebirgsjäger EM/NCO’s sleeve insignia, constructed of field-grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine-embroidered mult-coloured edelweiss, situated within a knotted border topped by a piton, unmarked, measuring 55 mm (w) x 68 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.

2. A Heer Officer’s summer uniform breast eagle, constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of an elongated Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, with a stabilizer emanating from the reverse of the wreath, unmarked, measuring 95 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), demonstrating moderate loss of finish, in near extremely fine condition.

3. A 1923 Westphalia 10,000 Mark coin, constructed of tombak, measuring 45 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
