Constructed of off-white paper stock with black ink, the obverse bearing an elaborate printed design featuring the name and title of pretender Prince Michael I, topped by a Montenegrin coat of arms, flanked by a detailed etching of the Order of Danilo, and situated above a printed form with handwritten information indicating that “PIETRO ROMAGNINI” has been awarded the Commander’s Cross, dated 15 May 1922 and issued in Genoa, measuring 24.5 cm (w) x 37 cm (h), demonstrating a single folding crease, in near extremely fine condition.
