Germany, HJ. A Member’s Belt Buckle, by Klein & Quenzer

(HJ Gürtelschnalle für Mitglieder). Constructed of magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching an HJ insignia, set within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of “BLUT UND EHRE” (“BLOOD AND HONOUR”), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment prongs, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code “M5/276” for Klein & Quenzer, Idar-Oberstein, with the roller retaining an additional unusual RZM label, measuring 65 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in near mint condition.
