Constructed of black wool with a card stock core, indicative of issue to Panzer Engineers, topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, and pinned with a central Panzergrenadier Division Großdeutschland cypher flanked by rank pipis, the reverse with an integral strap perforated with a reinforced buttonhole, unmarked, measuring 32 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), demonstrating material fatigue consistent with field use throughout, in addition to replacement of one of the pips, in very fine condition.
