A Guidon (military personal standard) of Francisco Franco as Head of Spanish State (1940-1975). In padded rayon, guidon has a scalloped exterior bottom edge, with an embroidered gold threaded border with a gold bullion wire fringe on three sides, while the hoist edge features four rayon loops to allow for a central pole to fit through the center, the main depiction is of the traditional King of Castile with two golden dragants in opposite corners of the Pillars of Hercules, measuring at 126.2mm (w) x 165.0 mm (h), excluding the fringe, and weighing 10.3 grams, in extremely fine condition.
