Instituted 1901. A bronze medal commemorating the China Campaign, the obverse with bust of Vittorio Emanuele III and the Italian “Cina” (translation: China) on the reverse, marked “S.J” for Stefano Johnson on obverse, measuring at 32.2 mm in diameter and weighing at 19.8 grams, on period ribbon with clasp denoting “Cina 1900-1901”, dark patina, minimal contact marks in extremely fine condition.
