1. A Silver Grade award, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked but demonstrating the physical characteristics of manufacture by Ernst L. Müller, Pforzheim, measuring 46.46 mm (w) x 60.93 mm (h), weighing 25.0 grams, an exceptional example in near mint condition.
2. A Bronze Grade award, constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, with a ball hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch emanating from a crimped base, maker marked with the logo of Josef Feix & Söhne, measuring 48.05 mm (w) x 61.72 mm (h), weighing 27.8 grams, demonstrating moderate loss of bronze finish, in near extremely fine condition.
