Germany, Luftwaffe. An Italian Made Field Division Tan & Water Pattern Camouflage Smock

This is a Field Division “Sumpftarn Feldbluse für Luftwaffe Mannschaften”. It is constructed of cotton blended fabric, and with brown, green, and olive drab coloured blotches. It features a standard notched collar and five blue-grey buttons oriented vertically along the opening of the jacket, with matching reinforced button holes on the opposing side. The front of the jacket has one large horizontal slit pocket per side, with a flap to cover the pocket, and a metal (non-magnetic) button to secure it shut. The interior is tan in colour and features one large pocket at breast height per side, secured shut via one metal button. The sides feature 5 reinforced belt keeper hooks, as well as a large slit at the armpit for air circulation. The tunic features multiple black stamps on the interior, with numbers, but no writing to identify the maker. It is large in size, depicting moderate signs of period wear, but is free from mothing. Without insignia of any kind, in overall very fine condition.
