Croatia, Independent State. A Postal Service Seal

A circular seal constructed of bronze, illustrating the reverse and wrong-reading image of the Independent State of Croatia (1941-1945) coat-of-arms in the centre, circumscribed with “NEZAVISNA DRŽAVA HRVATSKA POŠTANSKI B.D.VRED” (INDEPENDENT STATE OF CROATIA POSTAL B.D.VAL), the inscription directly under the coat of arms is indecipherable due to age and wear, with a dotted border, with an internally threaded screwback (for attachment to a handle), measuring 35.11 mm (diameter) x 16.66 mm (h), apparent signs of aging, otherwise in very fine condition.
