Oldenburg, Grand Duchy. A Medal for Art and Science

(Medaille für Wissenschaft und Kunst). Constructed of bronze, the obverse with a raised leftward-facing profile of Grand Duke Peter II, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR KUNST UND WISSENSCHAFT” (“FOR ART AND SCIENCE”), within a wreath of stars, unmarked, measuring 43.40 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
