Type II (Post 1908): Grand Cross: silver gilt with black and blue enamels, 52 mm (w) x 81 mm (h-to top of crown suspension) inclusive of its crown suspension, on period full-length sash; and Breast Star: multi-piece construction, silver gilt with black and blue enamelled insignia surmounted by a silver crown, mounted to a ten-pointed silver star base, maker marked "P. DeGreef. RUE DU MIDI BRUXELLES" on the reverse cartouche, 90 mm x 90 mm, vertical pinback flanked by dual prongs. Intact enamels, extremely fine.
