(Fotokonvolut von 7. SS-Freiwilligen Gebirgs-Division "Prinz Eugen"). A rare lot of six private wartime photos from the estate of a member of the 7th SS Volunteer Mountain Division Prinz Eugen, with four featuring images of the owner in the uniform of an SS-Sturmmann and posing on a flak gun and motorcycle, with one image clearly showing the “Prinz Eugen” divisional cuff title, all printed on Agfa postcard paper and measuring 8.5 cm (w) x 12.5 cm (h), two featuring reverse Croatian-language handwritten inscriptions; one consisting of a frontal portrait showing a razor-sharp image of the division’s classic Odal rune collar tab, with the owner’s overseas cap also displaying a non-regulation metal Totenkopf insignia, printed on unmarked Agfa postcard paper, measuring 8.5 cm (w) x 13.5 cm (h), and; an early studio portrait showing the owner in a Croatian Einsatzstaffel uniform, flanked by his mother, printed on Agfa postcard paper, the reverse with a handwritten Croatian-language inscription, measuring 9 cm (w) x 14 cm (h); a scarce compilation in overall near extremely fine condition.
