Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting an integral catch, maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “127” for Moritz Hausch, Pforzheim, measuring 36.73 mm (w) x 44.40 mm (h), weighing 26.9 grams, demonstrating only minor bubbling and wear to the finish, in near extremely fine condition.
