A War Merit Cross I Class, constructed of silvered tombak, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms and a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a block hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a round wire catch, the pinback maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “15” for Friedrich Orth, Vienna, measuring 48.45 mm (w) x 48.32 mm (h), weighing 16.6 grams, accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a wooden frame with a faux black leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a silvered depiction of the award, the interior with a white rayon lid liner with intact hinge cover, with a slotted black felt medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 70 mm (l) x 22 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
2.
