(Heer Panzerjacke für Feldwebel). An extremely well-preserved Heer Panzer Troops Feldwebel wrap, constructed of black wool. It features a turned-down collar which transitions into double breast lapels, and which is flanked on each side by tabs. The latter are constructed of black wool with buckram cores, trimmed with rose-pink piping, pinned with silvered Danziger-style Totenkopf devices, and measure 40 mm (w) x 70 mm (l). The shoulders are topped by straps constructed of black wool, trimmed with rose-pink piping, bordered by a silver aluminum wire tresse, and pinned with a single silvered pip. Each measuring 48 mm (w) x 100 mm (l), the straps are secured in place with loops at the outer edges and with pebbled magnetic on the inner edges. The cuff of each sleeve has a vertical slit with a hidden rayon strap perforated with a single reinforced buttonhole, in turn meeting two black bakelite buttons for an adjustable fit. Stitched onto the upper right breast is an insignia consisting of a black rayon triangle bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 110 mm (w) x 55 mm (h) overall. It closes with nine black bakelite buttons on the right flap meeting an equal number of reinforced buttons and loops on the left flap. Stitched through the top buttonhole is a ribbon for the Eastern Front Medal. The interior features a partial liner consisting of multiple panels of black rayon set into each breast, both featuring a single pocket. The upper left breast retains fully-legible size markings applied in white ink. It measures approximately 45 cm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 58 cm, and an overall body length of 59 cm. Demonstrating no notable damage or wear, this high-quality example remains in an extremely fine condition.
