A miniature medal chain for a First World War combatant featuring four awards of silver, bronze, and zink construction with enamels, including a Saxon Military Order of St. Henry, Knight’s Cross, a Saxon Albert Order, II Class Knight’s Cross with Swords, a 1914 Iron Cross II Class, and a Merit Cross for War Aid, all suspended from a 75 mm-long gilded bronze chain completing at each end in a needle, unmarked, the Order of St. Henry is missing its reverse centrepiece, in overall near extremely fine condition.
