Germany, Luftwaffe. A Short-Range Day Fighter Clasp, Bronze Grade

(Frontflugspange für Jäger in Bronze). Constructed of bronze, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a swastika, around a central patinated winged arrow, flanked on each side by six oak leaves, with a single visible rivet securing the obverse arrow in place, with a barrel hinge and tapering horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 75.96 mm (w) x 25.74 mm (h), weighing 18.2 grams, with minor oxidation evident, in near extremely fine condition.
